This legislation has been repealed.
(1) If the aggregate
quantity of a class or type of a controlled waste created, produced, or stored
on premises is equal to or greater than the notifiable quantity of the waste,
the occupier of the premises may be required by the Chief Executive Officer to
give the Chief Executive Officer a notice containing the following
information —
(a) the
class or type of controlled waste created, produced, or stored on the
premises;
(b) the
quantity of the controlled waste created, produced, or stored on the premises;
(c) the
concentration of the controlled waste created, produced, or stored on the
premises; and
(d) the
location on the premises of the controlled waste.
(2) An occupier who is
required to give the Chief Executive Officer a notice under subregulation (1)
and who fails to give the notice within 14 days of receiving the request from
the Chief Executive Officer commits an offence.
