This legislation has been repealed.
(1) Whenever in the
opinion of the Manager goods are wholly unprotected, or insufficiently
protected or packed, so as, in his opinion, to require additional labour in
handling, or to involve the Port Authority in additional risk in handling, an
additional charge for labour shall be imposed on such goods, and the Port
Authority shall in no case be liable for damage to goods caused by or
contributed to by insufficient packing or protection.
(2) The additional
charge referred to in subregulation (1) of this regulation shall be
determined in each case by the Manager.
