This legislation has been repealed.
The Accountant shall
make, or cause to be made true entries in the books provided by the Port
Authority for that purpose, of all moneys or cheques paid to, or received by
him for and on behalf of the Port Authority and he shall, within twenty-four
hours, or such shorter period as the Port Authority may direct, after the same
shall have come to his hand, pay those moneys and cheques into a Bank carrying
on business within the State approved by the Treasurer, to the credit of an
account to be called “The Fremantle Port Authority Account”.
