This legislation has been repealed.
Every vessel berthed
at a wharf shall at all times be provided with such appliances as gangways and
manropes, and shall exhibit such lights as may in the opinion of the Harbour
Master be necessary for the convenience and safety of persons passing to and
from that vessel and every gangway fixed for the purpose of giving access to a
vessel shall from sunset to sunrise be brightly illuminated as long as that
gangway is in communication with the shore, and a watch shall be continuously
set upon the gangway.
