This legislation has been repealed.
Every application to
register a society under the Friendly Societies
Act 1894 (in these Regulations termed "the Act") shall be sent to the
Registrar of Friendly Societies (in these Regulations termed “the
Registrar”), in Forms Nos. 1 or 1a annexed hereto. [Section 9 (1,
2) of the Act.]
(a)
Every application in Forms Nos. 1 or 1a must, when sent to the Registrar, be
accompanied by two printed copies of the rules, certified as provided in
Section 9 (5) of the Act. If the Registrar's certificate, under the said
section, to the tables of contributions is desired, two printed copies of the
rules and the fee prescribed by these Regulations for his certificate must be
forwarded to him prior to making the application for registry. [S. 9 (5).]
(b) A
society or branch which has no central body within the State of Western
Australia must make application for registration as a separate society. [S. 26
(6).]
