Failure to pass
examinations — In the event of an officer or employee failing
to pass the examination conducted by the Departmental Examiner, and not being
satisfied, he may appeal to the Head of the Branch, who may thereupon arrange
for a test by the Railway Medical Officer or Departmental Ophthalmic Surgeon,
whose report shall be submitted to the Commissioner, whose decision shall be
final. The cost of such examination will be borne by the Department.
