This legislation has been repealed.
(1) Subject to
sub-bylaw (2) of this by-law, a person shall not post any bill, or paint,
stencil, place or affix any advertisement on any street or on any building,
structure, fence, wall, hoarding, sign, post, blind or awning in, or within
fifteen metres of any street.
(2) This by-law does
not apply to —
(a)
signs or hoardings for which a license is in force under these by-laws;
(b)
advertisements affixed to, or painted on, a shop window by the occupier
thereof and relating to the business carried on therein;
(c) the
name and occupation of any occupier of business premises painted on a window
or wall of those premises; or
(d)
signs within a building.
