This legislation has been repealed.
(1) An application for
the renewal of a nurse’s registration is to be —
(a) in a
form approved by the Board; and
(b) made
to the Registrar up to 3 months before the nurse’s current
certificate of registration is due to expire, or such further time as the
Board allows.
(2) If an applicant
under subrule (1) has not practised nursing within the immediate past
5 years, the Board may require the applicant to complete a course or
program that the Board considers to be appropriate, and by way of considering
the application, take into account the course or program coordinator’s
statement as to whether or not the applicant has satisfactorily completed the
course or program.
