This legislation has been repealed.
(1) In this
regulation —
metropolitan area means the part of the State that
comprises the region that was, as at 1 January 1999, described in
the Third Schedule to the Metropolitan Region Town Planning Scheme
Act 1959 4 .
(2) Outside the
metropolitan area, a sample of a railway employee’s blood or urine to be
taken under this Part may be taken by a nurse if a medical practitioner is not
available.
(3) For the purpose of
subregulation (2), the functions conferred on a medical practitioner
under this Part are to be conferred on a nurse.
