This legislation has been repealed.

ROAD TRAFFIC CODE 1975 - REG 805

805 .         U turns

                A driver shall not drive his vehicle so as to make a U turn — 

            (a)         unless the turn can be made with safety or without interfering with the movement of other traffic; or

            (b)         within 30 metres of a traffic-control signal.
