This legislation has been repealed.
(1) The lubrication
and the working mixture of the motor of a motor vehicle shall be so controlled
that no undue amount of smoke is projected from the exhaust or from any other
part and oil or grease is not dropped onto the roadway.
(2) The outlet of the
exhaust of a motor vehicle other than a passenger car or passenger car
derivative shall not be so fitted as to project the exhaust directly onto the
roadway or at any point along the left side of the vehicle in such a manner as
to cause danger or unreasonable annoyance to any person.
(3) The outlet of the
exhaust of a passenger car or passenger car derivative shall not be so fitted
as to project the exhaust directly onto the roadway and shall not be permitted
to escape at any point on either side of the vehicle in front of the rear axle
of the vehicle in such a manner as to cause danger or unreasonable annoyance
to any person.
