This legislation has been repealed.
(1) An omnibus shall
be fitted with an efficient speedometer that —
(a) is
serviceable at all times;
(b)
indicates to the driver, within a margin of accuracy of plus or minus 10%, the
speed at which the omnibus is being driven; and
(c) is
illuminated whenever necessary for the driver’s purpose.
(2) The provisions of
subregulation (1) do not apply to a school bus that —
(a) is
not designed with a speedometer; and
(b) is
licensed at the time of coming into operation of this subregulation, until on
and after 1 January 1968.
