Where an omnibus is so
constructed that the chassis construction or the placement of the engine or
other rigid components of the vehicle do not, in the opinion of the Director
General, provide adequate protection for the driver and driving controls of
the vehicle, additional protection shall be provided to the satisfaction of
the Director General, immediately in front of the driver and the driving
controls.
