Every motor vehicle
(other than an articulated vehicle) that together with its load or equipment,
is 2.2 metres or more, in width, shall be equipped with clearance lamps, one
fitted on each side at the front, and one fitted on each side at the rear, of
the vehicle; and where the vehicle, together with its load or equipment
exceeds 7.5 metres in length, a sidemarker lamp shall be fitted at the rear
end of each side of the vehicle.
