In addition to the
rear clearance and sidemarker lamps that are required to be affixed to a
vehicle by these regulations, additional rear clearance and sidemarker lamps
that comply with the requirements of these regulations may be fixed to the
rear of a rigid motor vehicle that is 2.2 metres or more in width and
additional combination clearance sidemarker lamps may be fitted to the sides
of the vehicle.
