(1) Every passenger
car manufactured on or after 1 January 1977 and equipped with hydraulic
service brakes, shall comply at the time of first registration, with
Australian Design Rule No. 31 —Hydraulic Braking Systems.
(2) Every motor cycle
manufactured on or after 1 March 1976 shall, at the time of first
registration, comply with Australian Design Rule
No. 33 — Motor Cycle Brake Systems.
