THE DEPUTY PRESIDENT: This is an application pursuant to section 170LS of the Workplace Relations Act for certification of an agreement. AG2001/4931 is an application to certify the Topcoat Painters Enterprise Agreement 2000 - 2003. The parties to the agreement are Topcoat Painters, its employees and the CFMEU. The parties have provided the required statutory declarations and have met the requirements of the Act. None are in attendance and are happy for the agreement to be certified in their absence.

The agreement is some 11 days out of filing time. The CFMEU advises that due to the retirement of Mr Long who apparently had responsibility for doing such things and also advises that there are no changes in the agreement, there has been no industrial action and no changes to the make up of the employees. That agreement will be certified, an order will issue to take effect from today's date and to remain in force until 21 June 2003. The agreement came into effect on 7 August 2001.
