THE DEPUTY PRESIDENT: 5415 of 2001 an application pursuant to section 170LS of the Act to certify an agreement to be known as the Metro Tasmania Salaried Officers Enterprise Agreement 2001. The parties to the agreement are Metro Tasmania Pty Limited, its employees, the Australian Rail, Tram and Bus Industry Union and the ASU. Neither party is in attendance. They have provided the statutory declarations and have complied with the requirements of the Act and are happy for the agreement to be certified in their absence and have advised us accordingly.

The agreement will be certified. An order will issue to take effect from today's date and it will remain in force until 30 July 2003. It came into effect on 1 July 2001 - it should be the order will be 7 September 2001 to 1 June 2003. The agreement came into effect on 1 July 2001.
