THE SENIOR DEPUTY PRESIDENT: There has been a conference this morning in this matter. As a result, the parties were advised that the Commission would take no action by way of conciliation pending the outcome of the mediation referred to by Mr Holley on the record previously. When that outcome is known, the parties are at liberty to apply should that be necessary.

The parties are agreed that for the purposes of a response to the allegations by Associate Professor Steele, the 10 days referred to in clause 61 of the University of Wollongong Academic Staff Enterprise Agreement 2000-2003 will run from the date of the formal advice of the outcome of that mediation.
