Agreement 2002

THE DEPUTY PRESIDENT: This is an application pursuant to section 170LS of the Workplace Relations Act for certification of an agreement to be known as the Boral Window Systems Limited, Hobart, Certified Agreement 2002. The parties to the agreement are Boral Window System Limited, the Australian Workers Union and all employees covered by the classifications and engaged in the direct manufacturing of the company's products.

The Commission has checked the agreement and has no queries. Accordingly the parties have advised that they are happy for the agreement to be certified in their absence. They have provided the necessary statutory declarations and I am satisfied have met the requirements of the Act. An order will issue to take effect from today's date and the order remains in force until 30 April 2004. I note the agreement came into effect from 1 May 2002. That agreement is hereby certified.
