MS S. BURNLEY: I appear on behalf of the Shop, Distributive and Allied Employees Association.

MR D. CAVEDON: I appear on behalf of Fosseys trading as Target Country.

THE DEPUTY PRESIDENT: Thank you. Who is going to speak to the agreement?

MS BURNLEY: Yes, your Honour. This is an application for certification of the Target Country Retail Agreement 2002 between the SDA and the company. We have submitted a statutory declaration signed by Mr Jo De Braun in this matter and we would rely upon that in seeking this matter - this agreement to be certified. The expiry date for this agreement is 31 July 2005 and we would also note to the Commission that there contains a grievance procedure at clause 3.1 which allows for conciliation and arbitration. We would seek that this matter be certified in accordance with the Workplace Relations Act. If it pleases the Commission.

MR CAVEDON: No thank you, your Honour. Just that the company supports the SDAs application for certification of the Target Country Retail Agreement 2002. Thank you.

THE DEPUTY PRESIDENT: Thank you. I have been through this agreement also and there are no queries about the contents and accordingly, pursuant to section 170LJ of the Workplace Relations Act, the agreement known as Target Country Retail Agreement 2002 can be certified. The parties to the agreement are Fosseys Australia Pty Limited and the SDA. The parties have complied with the requirements of the Act. The agreement meets those requirements and accordingly comes into effect from today's date and remains in force until 31 July 2005. That agreement is hereby certified, and, what do we do next? We adjourn.
