THE DEPUTY PRESIDENT: 3469/2002 is an application by the AMWU pursuant to section 170LJ of the Workplace Relations Act for certification of an agreement to be known as the Silcar - Shoalhaven Mill Certified Agreement 2002 to 2005. The parties to the agreement are Silcar, the AMWU and the CEPU and those employees covered by the classifications found in the agreement. The parties have provided the necessary statutory declarations and I am satisfied have met the requirements of the Act.

None of the parties are in attendance, having been advised that there are no queries that the Commission wishes to raise about the content of the agreement, but all are happy for the agreement to be certified in their absence which will be done. An order will issue to take effect from today's date and remain in force until 30 June 2005. The agreement came into effect from 1 July 2002. That agreement is hereby certified. Thank you.
