Act by National Union of Workers for
certification of the Clover Corporation
Limited Enterprise Agreement 2001

MR E. CURNOW: I appear for the National Union of Workers.

MR T. REYNOLDS: I appear for the Clover Corporation.

MR CURNOW: Your Honour, we are requesting that you certify the Clover Corporation National Union of Workers Enterprise Agreement 2001. Both the company and the union have lodged appropriate statutory declarations indicating that the terms of the Act have been complied with. The agreement covers only three people and was properly voted on and supported by the membership concerned. It was lodged in the appropriate time and on that basis, your Honour, we ask that it be certified from today's date.

THE SENIOR DEPUTY PRESIDENT: Yes. Mr Reynolds?

MR REYNOLDS: The company supports the application. The agreement is the result of working together over about a year or so, so we feel that all the issues have been resolved nad we are happy with it.

THE SENIOR DEPUTY PRESIDENT: Having regard to the material contained in the file on this matter, and also the submissions put to me, I am satisfied I should certify the agreement known as the Clover Corporation Limited Enterprise Agreement 2001. I am satisfied that to do so would be consistent with the requirements of the Act and the regulations. The certification of the agreement will come into force from today's date and remain in force until 30 June 2003.
