for certification of the French Enterprise Bargaining
Agreement 2002

THE DEPUTY PRESIDENT: This is an application pursuant to section 170LJ of the Workplace Relations Act for certification of the French Pine Enterprise Bargaining Agreement 2002. The parties to the agreement are: The CFMEU, French Enterprises and all employees covered by the classifications found within the agreement. Each of the parties has provided the necessary statutory declarations and have met the requirements of the Act. None are in attendance; having been advised there are no queries raised within the agreement; and each has provided a fax seeking the matter be certified in their absence.

Accordingly the agreement will be certified. An order will issue to take effect from today's date and to remain in force for three years after that date which is 31 August 2005. The operative date of the agreement being 1 September 2002. The agreement actually came into force from 17 December because we are doing these a couple of days late.
