PN1
THE DEPUTY PRESIDENT: This is an application under section 170LS of the Workplace Relations Act for certification of the C and D Steel Constructions Enterprise Agreement 2003-2005. The parties have been advised that there are no queries in respect to the provisions of the agreement and accordingly each have advised that they do not oppose the certification in their absence - well, they have actually almost advised, we are waiting for something from the company, but we understand it is on the way.
PN2
THE COMMISSION: Yes. The company actually signed that before, I am sorry.
PN3
THE DEPUTY PRESIDENT: Okay. In fact we now have authority from both parties. The parties to the agreement are C and D Steel Constructions, the Construction, Forestry, Mining and Energy Union of Australia, Tasmanian Branch, and employees covered by the classifications found in the agreement. Each of the parties has provided the necessary statutory declarations and accordingly the requirements of the Act have been met. An order will issue to take effect from today's date and remain in force until 15 October 2005. The agreement, however, came into effect from 10 December 2003. That agreement is certified.
ADJOURNED INDEFINITELY [2.40pm]
