THE COMMISSIONER: Ms Bryant?

MS BRYANT: Commissioner, this is an application for certification of our enterprise agreement. All of the legislative requirements have been complied with and the details of what we have carried out have been listed in the statutory declarations. I ask that the Commission certify the agreement.

THE COMMISSIONER: Yes, thank you, Ms Bryant. Ms Evans?

MS EVANS: The union also asks that the agreement be certified by the Commission and relies on the affidavits provided.

THE COMMISSIONER: Yes, thank you. I have considered the agreement that has been submitted and I have also considered the statutory declarations - there is a sign out the front of this court room saying to turn those things off before you come in. I will start again. I would hope that people follow the signs that appear at Castricum's better than they follow the signs that appear here. This matter is an application for certification of the agreement known as Castricum Brothers Pty Ltd Dandenong and the Australasian Meat Industry Employees Union Victorian Meat Processing Agreement No 3 2000.

I have considered the statutory declarations and the agreement that have been lodged in this matter and I am satisfied on the basis of that information that the agreement meets the test prescribed in the legislation. Accordingly, I have certified the agreement with effect from today's date. The agreement will remain in force until 17 August 2001. If there is nothing further the proceedings are adjourned - the proceedings in this matter are adjourned, thank you.
