THE COMMISSIONER: Is there any change in appearances? Mr Waters.
PN212
MR A. WATERS: Commissioner, I appear for CPSU. Appearing with me is MR T. DIAMOND.
PN213
THE COMMISSIONER: Thank you very much, Mr Waters. You maintain your appearance, Mr Dube? Thank you.
PN214
MR B. DUBE: Yes, if it please, Commissioner.
PN215
THE COMMISSIONER: Thank you. Now, has there been some discussions about how we proceed? Mr Waters.
PN216
MR WATERS: The stories about the steps of the court seem to have had some impact in this matter and we are wondering if we could just go into conference to fill you in on where we are at.
PN217
THE COMMISSIONER: Yes, of course. Are you content with that course?
PN218
MR DUBE: Yes, thanks, Commissioner.
PN219
THE COMMISSIONER: Very well. I will adjourn the matter into conference.
SHORT ADJOURNMENT [10.26am]
RESUMED [3.05pm]
PN220
MR DUBE: Commissioner, I can indicate that in respect of the dispute as it arises regarding Ms Helleren, we have reduced an agreement to writing between the parties, or at least in principle. My friend is just in the process of explaining that to Ms Helleren, and at the risk of annoying the Auscript lady, I was just wondering if perhaps we could have a little bit more time because we would prefer to get this finalised before we proceed any further.
PN221
THE COMMISSIONER: Well, that is fine; I will take the brunt of any aggravation. So how long more do you need?
PN222
MR DUBE: Another 10 minutes.
PN223
THE COMMISSIONER: That is fine. And how are you going with the other matter?
PN224
MR DUBE: I don't think we have resolved that.
PN225
THE COMMISSIONER: All right. Well, you have got 10 minutes to do both. The matter is stood down for 10 minutes.
NO FURTHER PROCEEDINGS RECORDED
