and Others for certification of the Electrix
Pty Limited Enterprise Agreement 2004

THE DEPUTY PRESIDENT: This is an application pursuant to section 170LJ of the Workplace Relations Act for certification of the Electrix Pty Limited Enterprise Agreement 2004. The parties to the agreement are Electrix Pty Limited, the CEPU and all employees described in clause 3 of the agreement. Each of the parties have provided the necessary statutory declarations and I am satisfied have met the requirements of the Act. Neither party are in attendance but have provided faxes agreeing to certification in their absence.

Accordingly, the agreement will be certified. An order will issue to take effect from today's date and to remain in force until 31 December 2005. The agreement in fact came into effect from 1 June 2004. That agreement is certified.
