and Another for certification of the Dorset
Council Enterprise Agreement 2004

THE DEPUTY PRESIDENT: This is an application pursuant to section 170LS of the Workplace Relations Act for certification of the Dorset Council Enterprise Agreement 2004. The parties to the agreement are the Dorset Council, Australian Municipal, Administrative, Clerical and Services Union, and employees covered by the classifications found in the agreement, be they members of the union or not.

Neither of the parties are in attendance, having been advised there are no queries in respect to the agreement. They have provided letters seeking certification in their absence. They have also provided the necessary statutory declarations. I am satisfied therefore that the agreement can be certified and an order will issue to take effect from today's date and to remain in force until 30 June 2007. The agreement came into effect from the first full pay period on or after 1 July 2004.
