DRIVERS) AWARD 2000
PN1
MS H. RYALL: I appear for the Transport Workers' Union in this matter.
PN2
THE COMMISSIONER: Yes, Ms Ryall.
PN3
MS RYALL: Commissioner, this is an application to vary the Transport Workers (Long Distance Drivers) Award 2000 to update the respondency to change one of the names on that list from - I will just grab the names - Multi Group Distribution Services Pty Ltd to Star Track Express Pty Ltd.
PN4
THE COMMISSIONER: Yes, the Commission has received correspondence from Star Track Express under the signature of Mr Grant Allen which says that they accede to the application.
PN5
MS RYALL: Commissioner, copies of the application, draft order and hearing notice was sent to Star Track Express on 7 September by facsimile according to the order for substituted service and I have a statement of service to that effect.
PN6
THE COMMISSIONER: Ms Ryall, if it makes it easier, the Commission is content that the application is properly made and the requirements of the Act and the rules of the Commission have been met in this matter, and especially since the respondent employer also consents, unless you have anything further to say the Commission intends to agree to the application.
PN7
MS RYALL: No, thank you, Commissioner.
PN8
THE COMMISSIONER: The Commission agrees with the application to set aside a party to the Transport Workers (Long Distance Drivers) Award 2000 by changing the name and address as indicated in annexure A of the application. The order comes into effect from today's date and remains in effect for a period of six months. This matter is adjourned, thank you.

THE COMMISSIONER: The Commission notes that MS H. RYALL appears for the Transport Workers' Union in this matter. Ms Ryall.
PN10
MS RYALL: Commissioner, similarly to the earlier matter, the application, hearing notice and - I actually note there is no draft order, it is all part of the application with the annexure was sent to the respondent, Multi Group Distribution Services which is now called Star Track Express. I have a statement of service to that effect.
PN11
THE COMMISSIONER: Yes, and the Commission also notes that a record of the correspondence being received from Star Track Express under the signature of Mr Allen which accedes to the application before the Commission in this matter.
PN12
THE COMMISSIONER: Yes.
PN13
MS RYALL: Commissioner, again, as in the earlier matter with the Long Distance Drivers Award we are seeking only to update the respondency to reflect the name change of Multi Group Distribution Services Pty Ltd to Start Track Express Pty Ltd. Unless you have further questions of me, I have nothing further.

THE COMMISSIONER: No, Ms Ryall, and the award is similarly varied in the terms of the application before the Commission.
