and Another for certification of the
Motor Accidents Insurance Board and Finance
Sector Union Enterprise Agreement 2004

THE D.PRESIDENT: This is an application pursuant to section 170LJ of the Workplace Relations Act for certification of an agreement to be known as the Motor Accidents Insurance Board and Finance Sector Union Enterprise Agreement 2004. The parties to the agreement are the Finance Sector Union of Australia and the Motor Accidents Insurance Board of Tasmania. The agreement was filed within the prescribed time limit and the Board is a Government business enterprise. The parties were advised that there were no queries in respect to the content of the agreement. Each have provided statutory declarations and have provided faxes seeking certification in their absence. I am satisfied the agreement meets the requirements of the Act and accordingly can be certified. An order will issue to take effect from today's date and remain in force until 31 August 2007. The agreement came into effect from 7 September 2004.
