MR M. ADDISON: I don't think I have appeared in this matter before, your Honour.

THE DEPUTY PRESIDENT: I don't think you have, Mr Addison.

MR ADDISON: In that case, I appear on behalf of the AMWU.

THE DEPUTY PRESIDENT: No, other changes. Who would like to start?

MR McNAB: Your Honour, there has been a brief discussion at the bar table and the agreed position is between the parties that the matter can proceed on the basis of determining jurisdiction first and if that can be listed. There was some talk about 26 February but that is not appropriate for Mr Addison, if possible, earlier in that week.

THE DEPUTY PRESIDENT: All right. Well, why don't we go off the record and try and fix a date, shall we? We will adjourn into conference.

THE DEPUTY PRESIDENT: Following a brief conference, we have agreed on the following. First of all, the employer submissions, which I think are due on 20 February, will deal with jurisdictional issues only. Secondly, we will set it at 10.15 on 24 February to deal with jurisdictional matters only. Following that, further dates will be set should they prove necessary. I think that is all we can do today, isn't it?
