<EXTRACT OF TRANSCRIPT OF PROCEEDINGS [4.11PM]
PN1
THE SENIOR DEPUTY PRESIDENT: I think all I can do is say that the existence of bans is denied, that obviously there should be no action taken in any form that prevents or encourages individual employees not to work overtime if they're otherwise so minded. I note that the disputes procedure is being followed, that subject to the situation being normal over the weekend, the Commission stands ready to assist the parties to progress the matters which Mr Eadie has mentioned and that can be done either by a resident Commissioner in Brisbane or myself through video at an early date.
PN2
The company is at liberty to advise employees who may be querying the position that the Commission has recommended that work be performed as normal, including the working of overtime and that the Commission has made that recommendation in the knowledge that there is no official ban and that concern about delay in dealing with the matters can be remedied by approaching the Commission at the appropriate time. Liberty to apply is given.
