THE COMMISSIONER: Yes thank you Mr Matarazzo.

MR MATARAZZO: Thank you Commissioner. The ASU by way of background wishes to advise this award also has a joint union respondent the ..... ASU and the LHMU. We have services - substituted services the Chamber of Commerce. They are - The Pitjanjatjara Council are and they're associated organisations are, with the Chamber. We submit that the ..... order of the Transitional Award also because it covers employees and locations in South Australia and the Northern Territory where employees work at Pitjanjatjara or related organisations. The rates of pay we're seeking to vary the rates of - I'll start with the allowances. Sorry sir.

We're seeking to vary the allowances in accordance with the Full Bench decisions and they are in the draft order and they include - they include an on call allowance, first aid officers' allowance, bilingual qualifications allowance, meal allowances, motor vehicle allowances, removal allowances and travel and camping allowances and they are reflected in the draft order. Furthermore at item 9 in the draft order is the wages rates that we week to vary in accordance with the Full Bench decision and the Fair Pay Commission,. Community services offices are the ASU areas of coverage and schedule B, physical and technical grades, so the coverage of the LHMU as are the Nanango health workers and we vary the rates in the draft order in accordance with the Full Bench decision and the ASU and the LHMU are seeking that all the wages, salaries and the allowances are varied from the first pay period commencing on or after 1 October 2008. May it please the Commission.

THE COMMISSIONER: Yes the - item 8 - there's a slight - well an error. I think it should say "$69" not "$696".

MR MATARAZZZO: That's correct, yes.

THE COMMISSIONER: That will be corrected by us. Yes thank you. This is an application to vary this award to accord with the relevant Full Bench decision. I'm satisfied it does so and it will be looked to be varied. It will reflect the draft order and that variation will come in to force at the first pay period to commence on or after 1 October 2008 and the stay in force for a period of six months from that date. These proceedings are adjourned.
