1.1 This chapter provides assessments of the human rights compatibility of:

• bills introduced into the Parliament between 6 and 9 October 2020;^[2] and

• legislative instruments registered on the Federal Register of Legislation between 12 August and 20 September 2020.^[3]

[2] The committee has also deferred consideration of three bills for this reporting period, see Appendix 1 for further details.
