Australian Bill of Rights Bill 2017

Purpose
This bill seeks to:
• introduce a Bill of Rights to give effect to certain provisions of three human rights conventions to which Australia is a signatory; and
• allow the Australian Human Rights Commission to inquire into any act or practice that may infringe a right or freedom in the Bill of Rights
