Commerce (Trade Descriptions) Amendment Bill 2018

Purpose
This bill seeks to amend the Commerce (Trace Descriptions) Act 1905 to:
• enable importers to make a claim about the origin of goods; and
• enable the Commerce (Trade Descriptions) Regulations 2016 to be amended to incorporate information standards that are in force or existing from time to time
