1.99 On 10 May 2023, Senator Watt tabled a replacement explanatory memorandum to the bill.
1.100 The committee thanks the minister for providing the replacement explanatory memorandum, which appears to address the committee's scrutiny concerns relating to the broad delegation of administrative powers or functions.[89]
1.101 The committee makes no comment on amendments made or explanatory materials relating to the following bills:
• Education Legislation Amendment (Startup Year and Other Measures) Bill 2023;[90]
• Jobs and Skills Australia Amendment Bill 2023.[91]
