THE COMMISSIONER: Thanks, Mr Tasominos.

MR N. BALDINI: N. Baldini from the Police Federation of Australia.

THE COMMISSIONER: Thanks, Mr Baldini. Now, I’ve set this matter down for mention and programming. Have the parties conferred at all as to how they see the programming going? The answer seems to be no. Well, I don’t think we can fit it in this year. What’s your time frame, Mr Tasominos? Late January or early February be convenient?

MR TASOMINOS: That would be convenient.

THE COMMISSIONER: Well, I’ll give you a date. Would 8 February be – are you calling evidence, Mr Tasominos? Will you be calling evidence?

MR TASOMINOS: No. I think it’s a simple argument around - - -

THE COMMISSIONER: All right. We’ll make it the 8th, list it for 8 February, and I’ll leave it to both you, Mr Tasominos, and you, Mr Baldini, to work out an appropriate time frame for the exchange of contentions. I won’t set any but you can work out an appropriate time frame so that I have all the material no later than the Friday before, the 4th. That allows me to read it and become familiar with the matter. I’ll adjourn that matter.
