PN1
THE DEPUTY PRESIDENT: In matter B2015/540, the parties have reached an agreement to enable (indistinct) seek agreement on the following terms.
PN2
Firstly, such applications as have been made for protected action ballot orders by any of the unions will be withdrawn, and each of the unions undertake not to issue any further applications for protected action ballot orders until next week at the earliest.
PN3
Secondly, the unions undertake not to engage in protected industrial action on the assumption that any orders are made until 15 July 2015 at the earliest. They also undertake not to make application for a good faith bargaining order before that date.
PN4
The parties agree to participate in conferences under the auspices of the Commission on a regular basis on Fridays each week, subject to the parties remaining flexible, given my limited availability. The unions undertake also not to make an application for a scope order before 29 June 2015. The employer undertakes not to request employees to vote for the approval of the new agreement until 7 August 2015. If such a ballot were to take place, the ballot would conclude on 13 August 2015. The parties note that the question of the scope in relation to Level 6 employees remains in dispute. I will notify the parties either later today or tomorrow as to my availability this Friday, and if so what time I propose conferences commence.
