GLEESON CJ: In this matter there is a certificate from the Deputy Registrar saying that the applicant has informed her today that he does not intend to appear and present oral argument at the hearing of his application. This is an application for special leave to appeal against a decision of the Full Court of the Family Court of Australia. We are of the view that there is insufficient reason to doubt the correctness of the decision of the Full Court of the Family Court to warrant the grant of special leave, and the application for special leave to appeal is dismissed with costs.
