HAYNE J: The applicant seeks special leave to appeal against orders of the Court of Appeal of the Supreme Court of New South Wales made on 27 October 2005. By those orders, the Court of Appeal dismissed the applicant’s appeal against orders made by a single judge of the Supreme Court (Gzell J) declaring the applicant guilty of contempt of court by breaching certain undertakings given to the Court in September 2003 and punishing him for that contempt.
Because the applicant is unrepresented his application falls to be dealt with in accordance with r 41.10 of the High Court Rules 2004.
The application for special leave to appeal to this Court advances a large number of contentions many of which concern the findings of fact made at trial. Many of these contentions were raised, directly or indirectly, and considered in the applicant’s appeal to the Court of Appeal. They raise no question suitable to a grant of special leave.
In any event, we are not persuaded that the decision of the Court of Appeal is attended by doubt.
Pursuant to r 41.10.5 we direct the Registrar to draw up, sign and seal an order dismissing the application. I publish that disposition.
AT 9.25 AM THE MATTER WAS CONCLUDED
