Greenhouse and Energy Minimum Standards (Registration Fees) Instrument 2015

I, David Walker, Greenhouse and Energy Minimum Standards Regulator, acting in accordance with my powers under subsection 8 (1) of the Greenhouse and Energy Minimum Standards (Registration Fees) Act 2012, make this instrument for the purpose of specifying the fees payable in relation to applications under section 41 of the Greenhouse and Energy Minimum Standards Act 2012.

Part 1 Preliminary


1Name of Instrument

This instrument is the Greenhouse and Energy Minimum Standards (Registration Fees) Instrument 2015.


2Commencement

This instrument commences on the day after it is registered.


3Revocation

This instrument revokes the Greenhouse and Energy Minimum Standards (Registration Fees) Instrument 2013 (No.2) (F2013L01492).


4Object

The object of this instrument is to specify, for the purposes of subsection 8 (1) of the Greenhouse and Energy Minimum Standards (Registration Fees) Act 2012, the fees payable in relation to applications under section 41 of the Greenhouse and Energy Minimum Standards Act 2012 to register models of GEMS products.


5Interpretation

(1) Unless the contrary intention appears words and expressions used in this instrument have the same meaning as given in the Greenhouse and Energy Minimum Standards Act 2012 and the Greenhouse and Energy Minimum Standards (Registration Fees) Act 2012.

(2) The descriptions in column 4 of Schedule 1 are a generic description of the products covered by the GEMS Determinations listed in column 3 of Schedule 1. They are provided for ease of reference only. Whether a model is covered by a GEMS Determination is determined by the relevant GEMS determination listed in column 3 of Schedule 1.


Part 2Fees6Fees

Column 2 of Schedule 1 sets out the registration fees specified for registration applications in relation to models of GEMS products covered by the GEMS determinations listed in column 3 of Schedule 1.
