s.127 Application to stop or prevent industrial action

ORDER

1 -TITLE

This order shall be known as the Public Transport Corporation Industrial Action Order No 1 of 1997.

2 - PARTIES BOUND

This order is binding upon:

2.1 Public Transport Corporation;

2.2 Communications, Electrical, Electronic, Energy, Information, Postal, Plumbing & Allied Services Union of Australia (`Union');

2.3 the delegates and officers of the Union; and

2.4 members of the Union when employed by and in their employment with Public Transport Corporation.

3 - INDUSTRIAL ACTION TO STOP

3.1 All industrial action as defined in the Workplace Relations Act 1996, including industrial action that is threatened, impending, or probable, by the Union, its officials and employees, and its members at Public Transport Corporation in protest against the Victorian Government's proposed changes to workers compensation legislation in Victoria, shall stop or not occur.

3.2 The Union shall immediately withdraw authorisation of industrial action at the Public Transport Corporation in protest against the Victorian Government's proposed changes to Workers Compensation legislation in Victoria.

4 - SERVICE OF ORDER

4.1 The Public Transport Corporation shall provide a copy of this Order to all persons and organisations bound by this Order, including the employees to whom the Order applies.

5 - TERM AND DATE OF EFFECT

5.1 This order will take effect from 12 midnight on 1 December 1997 and shall continue to operate unless otherwise ordered by the Commission.
