ORAL DECISION OF THE AUTHORITY

[1] Before the Authority is an application by Charlotte Sofie Adams pursuant to s.118 of the Act for a General Manager’s Certificate. The applicant filed her application with the Auckland District Licensing Agency on 18 September 2007.

[2] The applicant indicated in her application that she was not the holder of a Licence Controller Qualification. The District Licensing Agency Inspector advised the applicant that a copy of the Licence Controller Qualification must be provided before a General Manager’s Certificate can issue. The Inspector contacted the Hospitality Standards Institute on 25 June 2009 and they held no record of the applicant in their training records. The applicant has not responded to further attempts to contact her.

[3] The assumption is that the applicant is no longer interested in pursuing her application and she failed to appear before the Authority. As a consequence and as a matter of law the application is now refused.
