JUDGMENT OF THE COURT


The appeal against conviction is dismissed.

REASONS OF THE COURT


(Given by Robertson J)

[1]Having considered the written material and the additional evidence together with submissions from counsel, the Court is persuaded that the appeal against conviction cannot succeed and is accordingly dismissed.
[2]The reasons will be issued at a later date.
[3]Mr Martin’s bail is extended until 9am on Friday 28 July 2006 when he must surrender himself to the Registrar at the High Court in Auckland.
