_{SUPPLEMENTARY ORDER}

Introduction

[1] A decision was issued in respect of these matters on 12 June 2017 addressing the substantive issues, and making orders on review. The order made by the Standards Committee with the approval of the New Zealand Law Society Board to direct publication of the facts of the matter including Mr TB’s identity was not expressly addressed, although publication of the LCRO decision was directed without identifying Mr TB.

[2] It follows from the reasons recorded at [61]–[67] of the decision of 12 June

2017 that the Committee’s decision to publish is reversed, pursuant to s 211(1)(a) of the Lawyers and Conveyancers Act 2006 (the Act).

Supplementary Order

[3] Pursuant to s 211(1)(a) of the Act, the Standards Committee’s direction pursuant to s 142(2) and regulation 30 of the Lawyers and Conveyancers Act (Lawyers: Complaints Service and Standards Committees) Regulations 2008 is reversed.
