DECISION
[1] This is an application by Jeong Yong Lee for a General Manager's Certificate.
[2] The application attracted an adverse report from the District Licensing Agency Inspector.
[3] Mr Lee is a new arrival in New Zealand and has no previous experience in working in or managing licensed premises. Although he intends to purchase a licensed business, Mr Lee had not entered into any contract.
[4] In the light of Mr Lee's absence from the hearing, we assume that he no longer wishes to pursue the application. It is now formally refused.
DATED at WELLINGTON this 9th day of October 2002
