Decision No. 309/2003
IN THE MATTER of the Sale of Liquor Act 1989
AND
IN THE MATTER of an application by LOGAN DANIEL BROWN pursuant to s.118 of the Act for a General Manager’s Certificate
BEFORE THE LIQUOR LICENSING AUTHORITY
Chairman: District Court Judge E W Unwin
Member: Mr J C Crookston
FINAL DECISION
In decision number LLA PH 338/2002 dated 19 July 2002 we adjourned for nine months the application by Logan Daniel Brown for a General Manager’s Certificate. This was designed to enable the Police to monitor the progress of the applicant in his chosen career. The decision stipulated that should we receive favourable reports from the District Licensing Agency Inspector and the Police at the conclusion of the nine-month period, we proposed to grant the application on the papers.
On 17 April 2003 and 22 April 2003 respectively, our Secretary received supplementary reports from the District Licensing Agency Inspector and the Police, which advise that there is no longer any opposition to this application. Accordingly, we will now deal with the matter on the papers.
We are now satisfied as to the matters to which we must have regard as set out in s.121(1) of the Act and we grant the application.
DATED at WELLINGTON this 5th day of May 2003
