DECISION
This is an application by Grant Allan Singer, Taupo District Licensing Agency Inspector, for suspension of General Manager’s Certificate number 020 GM 236/2002 issued to David John Christie.
The ground for the application pursuant to s.135(3)(b) of the Act is that the conduct of the manager has been such as to show that he is not a suitable person to hold a certificate. This results from the applicant’s conviction on 2 December 2002 for driving with an excess breath alcohol level.
By consent, the parties have agreed to a suspension period of one month. Accordingly, we deal with the matter on the papers.
General Manager’s Certificate number 020 GM 236/2002 issued to David John Christie is suspended for one month from 6.00 am on Monday 19 May 2003.
DATED at WELLINGTON this 6th day of May 2003
